This handset is a brand new replacement for your lost or broken Lion Chief handset. THIS is the one that comes with your Lionel Polar Express Berkshire steam engine #1225 in the more recent Polar Express set issues (not the very first one which did not come with LionChief). This is for the REMOTE CONTROL O GAUGE Pennsy Flyer. I believe it is specifically for the 10th Anniversary version set, 6-81101.
This is the remote that allows you to control so much such as
- Forward and reverse speed control knob
- Three buttons for whistle sound, bell, and special freight crew announcements

NOTE: This remote is for the LIONCHIEF 10th Anniversary version of the Polar Express. It will not add remote control to engines that did not come with it originally.
