Here is a Lionel postwar original TYPE A transformer offered by Lionel in 1947-48. THIS one has been serviced and tested here at Lone Star Trains and is ready to play with NOW.
AND we are including a #167 whistle controller so that you can blow the whistle in your whistle tender!
It has enough power to run a small layout all by itself, and there are extra posts for track, constant voltage outputs for accessories, and even a way to use one to specifically send constant voltage to your constant voltage plug on your 022 switch.

Did you know this transformer actually came in a few sets such as the 2203WS?
CONDITION: C-6. Serviced and doing everything it should with a new cord. Faceplate and case look good but do have scratches, rubs and wear. The previous owner had a red bulb for the circuit breaker light instead of a clear bulb and the red lens cover. If you prefer the lens cover, I can supply. WITH #167 WHISTLE CONTROLLER! With a COPY of instructions for the transformer.
