Here is a tinplate Louis Marx Steam freight set from the 1950s. This one utilizes the vintage tinplate chrome boiler front--hubba hubba. And it pulls four classic six inch tinplate cars, all in great shape.
This is a neat set with the tinplate cars and the nice steam engine and tender.
The set includes
- (495) 0-4-0 steam locomotive with chrome front, aka 3000 style, "MARLINES"
- 551 New York Central tender
- 552 CRIP Gondola
- 553 UTLX Union Tank car single dome
- 86000 DL&W hopper
- 20102 Caboose
