You are looking at a vintage American Flyer #8B transformer. The 8B was released in the late 1940s and into the early 50s.
This one was the deluxe transformer released just after WW2 with lots of power, 100 watts, and a circuit breaker with a reset button. This one has the maroon streamlined style handle--so cool!
Great with any AC trains including American Flyer, Lionel, Marx, Ives, and others!

CONDITION: C-6, very good. Just serviced with a new cord. There are some scratches on the faceplate and some light wear on the underside of the base.
