You are looking at a great early American Flyer O gauge steam engine, the #565 Atlantic 4-6-2. This one is for you to restore or use for parts.
This one is a neat old die cast steam engine with a tin litho tender that would look good with your prewar Flyer.
- Catalog #565
- PREWAR O Gauge for three rail
- Two position reverse
- Metal wheels and axles
- Nickle journal boxes
- O Link coupler
CONDITION: CONDITION: C-4+. Gets power. E-Unit lever is very loose. Can hear E-unit click. The wire from the tender to the locomotive has been replaced. The engine has run in the not too distant past, but it is NOT running now--stuck in neutral.. It is the paint flaking and cosmetic wear that brings it down. The name is worn off of the tender--usually either Reading or American Flyer. The wheels all look good. LOTS of scratches and playwear. As Is for restoring or parts. Pictures are part of the description.
