You are looking at a clean American Flyer stock car from 1957. This is the ORIGINAL Union Pacific stock car, great for your cattle or to add to your own classic train. Or maybe you need it to complete a set.
This is not one of the more common cars of the 1950's--be sure you have it. This is the knuckle coupler stock car 994 in a red and white box (missing the endflap). You may need it in this box if you are trying to complete a rare 1957 set such as the 20365 Challenger Freight.
This one is more of a runner as it has significant scratches and rubs. Still, a harder car to come by.
- sintered iron trucks
- knuckle couplers
silver roof and ends,
- red print
- metal door handles
CONDITION: C-5+/C-6. More of a runner than a collector car, though the knuckle version is more desirable. Lots of scratches, paint rubs, etc. One catwalk end has lots of paint rubbing on one end that makes it look chipped. Be sure and enlarge the pictures to see everything up close.
