THE ENGINE 490 PA Northern Pacific diesel
Very clean. If you hold it sideways under a lamp, you might find a small scratch in the patina, but overall, WOW. Decals are complete. Not all that visible until you look super close or put under a lamp. In the pictures, there are some spots on the nose BUT they were just dried water droplets from when it was last gently cleaned by the super picky previous owner. After I saw them in the pics, I carefully wiped them away. Roof has some light dust which you can clean, or I will be happy to upon your request. We like to leave that decision to the new owners.
All ladders present. Single rivet ladders.
Printing is all here and really nice.
Tested and runs, reverses, lights. We do always suggest servicing these engines that have been sitting.
THE ENGINE 492 PA Northern Pacific DUMMY diesel
With strong Diesel Roar and electronic horn.
Great sharp printing and sharp decal. Nice patinal strong printing, great decals. If you hold it under a lamp sideways, you may see a few light scratches in the finish. There is a speck in the white on the nose. Roof has some light dust which you can clean, or I will be happy to upon your request. We like to leave that decision to the new owners.
THE PASSENGER CARS:
The paint, lettering, etc, on all of the cars is really nice. You will ne amazed at the patina. And you know how HARD it is to fnd the white printing clean and crisp!
900 Combination car Baggage/ Club Car
Lighted. SUPER Clean and crisp. Paint and lettering are really good. Strong patina. Clean underside.
901 Passenger Coach
Lighted. SUPER Clean and crisp. Paint and lettering are really good. If you look super closely, you can see a few light scratches in the finish, some on the roof, but they are minor. To be ultra-picky: There is a fingertip sized rub along the side apron bottom edge on one side. There is a micro-sized dot of a speck between the D and the rivet on one side. Strong patina. Clean underside. Overall, a WOW.
902 Vista Dome
Lighted. SUPER Clean and crisp. Paint and lettering are really good. Strong patina. Clean underside. Hard to find a flaw.
Lighted. SUPER Clean and crisp. Paint and lettering are really good. Strong patina. Clean underside. A few minor rubs in the paint by the rear observation/drumhead, but again, Wow.
