Here is the Lionel 125 whistle station from 1950-55 to add whistle sound your layout. Your engine does not have whistle? Use this building to add sound AND a neat building. There is a button included to press to activate the whistle. It may be possible to activate by other auctomatic means as well such as a 153IR infra red activator or insulated track sections.
There is always a place for a little depot on the layout! Put some O figures there, and you've really added some great depth to the layout.
