You are looking at a vintage Lionel O gauge train. This O gauge three rail electric 0-4-0 engine is from BEFORE World War 2, made 1924-1925. It is a model of the New York Central S type electric.
Even though Lionel produced this model for only two years, there are different colors. THIS one is the desirable dark olive green version.
CONDITION: C-6. Serviced and runs one direction only as the hand reverse rod which usually protrudes from a hole in the body on one end is missing. Some paint rubs, a little oxidation. Print is largely faded from handling, but is still visible. Overall looks good and is complete.
Collector Note: The hand reversing rod, which usually protrudes from the hole in the end of the body on one end, is missing; therefore, the item currently runs one direction only.
