
You are looking at a postwar classic with a neat sidestory.
This is the 2056 made one year only, 1952. It is the Korean War version of the 2046. The main difference is the lack of Magentraction due to the war effort. Lionel produced the engine using the boiler casting from the famous 736 Berkshire put with the Hudson 4-6-4 arrangement. It runs well on 027 and O gauge track.
