Not for your typical AC Lionel
You are looking at a standard Lionel starter set transformer from the late 1980's and into the 1990's. This one has been tested here at Lone Star Trains and is doing everything it should. It was made 1980-93.
This one is sort of the opposite of the standard HO style transformer. It features VARIABLE DC and FIXED AC. Lionel made some DC trains in this era, so this transformer could run those trains, and you could power your accessories with the fixed AC.
