It took 52 Years, but they made it!
Made and retired in 2002
You are looking at an accessory that Joshua Lionel Cohen wanted to make, but never did.
This is something from the Archives. It is a modern production of the planned postwar Lionel accessory: the #213 Lift Bridge.
It is compatible with all of your O gauge brands such as MTH, K-Line, Williams, and more.
In 1950, Lionel cataloged a substantial bridge which, “Looks just like real! Operates just like real!” Models were made, and instructional manuals prepared. However, for reasons unknown to this day, the 213 was never made. Until now.---Transfixed in Lionel lore, the 213 Lift Bridge makes its long-awaited debut in 2002. Constructed of sturdy metal, this model features a realistic counter weight system for raising and lowering the bridge. Custom gears and red warning lights on the towers add an extra level of detail.
