You are looking at a classic car by Lionel, using the same mold as they used in the postwar days when they made this same car. This is the classic reissue of the old 3530 GM Operating Generator/Searchlight car that looks great with your work scene, work crew, Maintenance of Way, etc.
This one was postwar celebration before it was called postwar celebration. It even has the same number--3530--as the old one. Except this one looks new and works as new, so you can play with it without hassles or without worrying about what it might do to your collection's value.
It activates by opening one of the doors which closes a switch to allow current from the rails to activate the remote seachlight; then it also turns on a light and fan inside the car to simulate the light and noise the genrator would make in a real car such as this.

CONDITION: C-7 to C-8, excellent to like new in the box with the light and pole included. Box shows very minor shelfwear.
