You are looking at a beautiful Blue Comet Heavyweight passenger car by Lionel released in 1978-79. This is the TEMPEL observation car.
Who doesn't love the Blue Comet? It is really one of "those" sets every collector wants.
This set was released as individual pieces, which makes finding it complete a little tougher than most. Each passenger car in this release was sold separately. (You can find a nice five car set for sale in our other listings, as well as some other individual cars.)
