Here is a Lionel 4-4-2 Lionel Lines steam engine and tender. I like the classic look of this one--it looks like the 2018s and 2025s we remember from the good old days. What more could you want? It has a familiar look. Die cast locomotive, good lettering. It has the traditional air whistle in the tender that makes the same sound you remember.
This engine came in a limited edition set for Hobbytown USA back in 2004. Do you know someone who collects Hobbytown USA items? As such, this is a relatively low number item.
Maybe you need a replacement for that workhorse steam engine you have to give it a break--or a replacement for a lost steam loco. Or maybe you just want a new die cast loco to run...
It looks nice, BUT IT HAS BEEN run a little. You can see some light use on the rollers. Item does NOT have a box. This one comes with

CONDITION: C7. Has been used, but not too much. Everything works great. There are a few paint scratches/ nicks on the steam engine, highlighted in the pictures. Otherwise, a great looking unit.
