You are looking at an very nice item from the early days of trains. This is the Lionel 59 gooseneck style street lamp post. This is the Olive Green version. It has the clean stamp underneath. Perfectly sized to go with Standard gauge OR O guage.
It is 8 5/8" tall. Lionel 59 on the underside of the base.
A very interesting item for your collection or your conversation...Not something you see everyday. These came in many colors--make sure you have them all!
CONDITION: C-7. Works. Looks great. Paint is actually quite clean with good patina. Some light paint rubs and scratches as pictured. The bulb is a replacement globe had shows some flaking. Pictures show it all.
