Here is a Lionel postwar original TYPE A transformer offered by Lionel in 1947-48. THIS one has been serviced and tested here at Lone Star Trains and is ready to play with NOW.
AND we are including a #167 whistle controller so that you can blow the whistle in your whistle tender!
It has enough power to run a small layout all by itself, and there are extra posts for track, constant voltage outputs for accessories, and even a way to use one to specifically send constant voltage to your constant voltage plug on your 022 switch.

Did you know this transformer actually came in a few sets such as the 2203WS?
CONDITION: C-5+. Serviced and doing everything it should with. The cord was replaced by a previous owner a long time ago, and it is in very good shape. Faceplate and case are in good structural shape but have significant scratches, rubs and wear. The faceplate shows oxidation and wear. The bulb has scratches in the red paint.
