Here is a Louis Marx Santa Fe AA set, a powered A unit and a dummy A unit for the 1095 series plastic F units. You can never have enough units in your diesel consist--the more the better!
These units came in both a flat grey color as well as a kind of pearly-silver. You want these guys to match up. THESE units are both the more pearly-silver shade.
This is part of the Santa Fe El Capitan units from the 1950's. As you can see, the unit has a tilt coupler on one end to connect to your freight or passenger cars, and tab and slot drawbars in between units.
