Here is one of the more colorful offerings from Marx! This O/027 New York Central Diesel engine is motorized, recently serviced and ready for duty straight from the postwar era.
This unit is the version with the Short Flags on the side of the nose of the engine (as opposed to the longer flag version). It is also the verison with tab and slot couplers.

CONDITION: Serviced. Runs and reverses. Crisp printing. Edge wear on the back roof top edge--a chip, hard to see. One step has been replaced with a reproduction. Some light surface rust on the tab and slot coupler. Overall, shows some playwear/handling in the form of scratches and general wear. Some scratches in the plastic. Silver truck sides show a little wear.
