What a neat heavy relic of the old days of railroading. This is a bell ringer box from the Rock Island. It looks to be in great shape inside and out. Check out all of the pictures which show all sides inside and out.
You do not see these very often, much less sepecific to a road. Both pieces have the Rock Island Communications label.
The base of the crank box is 8" x 9.5" and about 6.25" tall.
The bell box is about 6.25" x 5.25" at the base and 4.75" tall. Bells have a great sound.
It would look great on the wall in the train room or man cave.
CONDITION: . Has some scratches from use. Crank works. Inside looks great. Bells have a nice sound. Still has Rock Island decals.
