It has a D408SR Silent Running DCC decoder by NCE installed. James has been tested in standard analog DC, and he runs fine. He has NOT been tested in DCC mode.
With US style knuckle couplers and the low coupler extension piece installed. Of course, it is all on with just a phillips screw, so they are very easy to change to whatever you prefer to match up to your locomotive or other cars, such as the international hook style. If you need the European style, just let us know.
CONDITION: Cosmetically C-8, like new. Tested and runs in analog, with your standard DC power. Have not been able to test in DCC but does have an NCE decoder installed (address on back of engine). NMRA/DC polarity switch was removed when the decoder was added, but that part IS here if you want to put it back. Box looks like new.
