Is there a better time for the Army Train than during the Patriotic Triad of Memorial Day, D-Day, and the Fourth of July? The Prewar MARX ARMY TRAIN is one of the most desirable tinplate train sets out there. The Marx Army Trains came along at the right time offering a toy train with a military theme to a generation of folks who all knew someone who was serving. Marx offered the Army Train in a few different combinations in the tinplate era and offered a nice variety of army freight cars.
We have a boxed Army set with the steam engine, tender, flat with metal tank, searchlight car and LIGHTED “Official Car” troop observation car. And...the original set box with the words “ArmyTrain” and the set number clearly stamped.
