When Young Old Customers Grow Up! From Thomas to ONE to ONE Scale

Many of you know us as a crazy busy mail order business for your trains. But before we were shipping your trains, we ran an old school American Dream 5600 square foot retail train store in San Antonio for about 14 years.

We always love to visit our old customers from our BRICK and MORTAR train store days in San Antonio. But it is especially meaningful when we see the Thomas (and other trains, too!) kids all grown up. In the last year, we have had the joy and privilege of running across old kid customers in San Antonio, Seabrook, and Pearland.

Today, in DALLAS on a secret TCA National Convention errand, we got to visit with a young man who came in to our old San Antonio store all the time--when he was a just a little fella! I recognized him right away.

And today, he is all grown up and, drum roll please...a TRAIN ENGINEER. He's "done us proud." He kindly credited our shop as an influence, but the hard work and love of trains was in HIM always.

Had a blast visiting with him in Dallas today. And we might just see him again in a few weeks...

Now back to all your train orders (see what I did there?)...
