What an interesting engine.
MTH released this CAT diesel as an individual item in 2005--TWENTY years ago. It was not part of a set. It WAS a RUGGED RAILS release, in the 33- series.
Although it bears the -0 number which usually signifies a conventional horn and bell sound diesel, THIS unit, a -0, came with PROTOSOUNDS 2 and the ability to be controlled with your Digital Command System. We tested it, and yes, it has it, and it is working. There is one difference with the -1 version that I can see: This -0 unit does not have Protocouplers although the couplers are metal operating couplers.
Even better, this unit has had the old battery removed and a supercap super capacitor put in its place. So let it warm up for a minute, and you will be good to go forever.

CONDITION: C-7+ comsetically like new; has been run. Tested and all functions working. Has a SUPERCAP Super capacitor replacement for the battery so you should never have to open it up. No box.
