This is an interesting G scale car. This one is in the Skokie Line, car number GSV2084, released in the Heritage Series, #10. This is a colorful car in a limited series by the NMRA.
Did you know that this Skokie Line "woodsided" box car was a custom run G scale car by USA Trains for the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). It was honoring the well known model railroad by the same name.
These cars were only available to members of the NMRA and were called the "Heritage Collection" by the NMRA. This car was the fourteenth car of this series of 15 cars commissioned by NMRA in honor of famous model railroads. See our other listings for more from this same series.
It is in the original box though the box shows some shelfwear.
