INTERESTING
You are looking at a vintage American Flyer #8 transformer. The 8 was released in the late 1940s. It looks just like the more common 8B, but this one must have been released in very small numbers because you do not see it offered very often, and it is not in the postwar books. This one is the precursor to the 8B. The #8 may have been the prewar only version of the postwar 8B.
Still has that great classic look of the 8B, an oveal with a metal face and a reset button.
This one features:
- built in circuit breaker
- AC Power, great with O or S
- 100 watts of power
- Variable voltage posts for running trains
- Constant voltage options (great for accessories)
- RESET SWITCH
