You are looking at one of THE classic O gauge locomotives that is ONE of the few iconic steam locomotives that always make you think of Lionel... This is the prototypical 2020 6-8- S2 Steam Turbine that Lionel first issued in 1946. AND...
This is the Pellet type smoke unit VERSION made in 1947-48 that repalced the earlier smoke bulb version.
CONDITION: C-6. Runs, reverses, smokes, and whistles. Has some paint fading on numbers and lettering, probably from handling. Some scratches and a little bit of surface rust. Somewhere between C6 and low C7. It looks good, but does have some playwear and scratches. Pictures show it all--check them out!
