You are looking at one of the most desirable motorized units from the postwar era. This is the super cool US Air Force Minuteman gas turbine switcher from the postwar era.
This motorized unit has three position reverse via the e-unit and an operating coupler.
This one has been serviced and is running well.
The white on this one almost always ages with some yellowing, and this one has some of that. It looks great overall, but when you look closely, it has that aging. We took pics both with and without flash so that you can see the two extreme views of it.
The struts are all here and appear original.
Great to add to your military themed trains!
We have more postwar motorized units in our other listings--check them out!
CONDITION: C-6. Serviced and running smoothly. Would rate as C-7 if not for the aging to the white in spots. At a distance, or with flash, you do not see it. Up close, and without a flash, the age related yellowing is visible. Window struts are all intact. Screwholes are in tact--no visible cracks. Some oxidation/surface rust spots on the metal handrails as pictured. Some light scratches here and there, but over all looks quite nice. Print is good with some very light wear in one of the USAF logos.
