When a wheel bearing overheats it causes the brakemans nightmare known as a hot box. These new cars allow you to recreate this red hot situation. The scenario begins with an irregular sound and a whiff of smoke. Crew dialog keeps you on top of the situation with reports such as Somethings burning! and Weve got a blazer! Smoke, lights and screeching intensify until you, the engineer, initiate an emergency stop to let your crew Cool that spindle.
