You are looking at a stunning four car Standard Gauge passenger set known as the Transcontinental Express. This is known as a "State Set" by collectors. This one is a beautiful two tone green with brass detail. This is a complete orignal four car set. They have been together their whole 27 years.

CONDITION: C-8, perhaps better! I would put it between C-8 and C-9--better than like new. Cars look good. Small rubs o postal car from handling. Pictures show it all. Box is P-6 with some creases, rubs and sticker residue. Pictures are part of the description. Unbelievable patina--gorgeous. Looks unused. Roller pickups on Colorado and New York cars have a few surface spots of rust, but don't look like they have been on rails.
The BOXES show a little shelfwear: a creased corner on Maryland car box. Outer shiiper/set box is present, showing shelfwear. We will ship it in ANOTHER box to protect your original shipper.
