Here is a neat building for your Lionel prewar. This one was designed to fit an early type T, K or C transformer inside. What a great idea that was to disguise your power supply with asupewr cool building--a POWER STATION! The #436  is the MEDIUM sized of the three power stations Lionel made in the prewar era.

This one looks better than most. For some reason, these are usually found in rough shape. This one is not perfect, and the roof is a little dirty, but there is less paint flaking and scratches than I usually see on these.

There were quite a few different paint combinations on these which makes them fun to collect. Make sure you have thius one:
Gray Base,  Cream roof, Pea Green skylight, Terra Cotta sides, Pea Green Window frames, Orange windows, Dark Green door frames, Red doors, Brass plates, Red stack.

Not sure if this one was marketed as O or standard. It seems like it would fit right in between!!

Features

  • 71/2"1ong x  6" wide x 6 1/2" high
  • Smoke stack  5 1/2" tall
  • Base 9 1/4"x 7 1/4"
  • Removable skylight
  • Type T, C, or K transformers fit inside
  • Brass plate "Power Station"
  • 1926-37 production

CONDITION:
C-6+. Does have some scratches and a little bit of paint loss from nicks, but overall, this one looks quite nice--nicer than most of these we run across. All parts are here including the skylight, the smokestack, and the smokestack base.  Pictures are part of the description and show it all.
