You are looking at a Louis Marx set from the prewar era. This one utilizes the beautiful and unique streamlined locomotive with the green, cream and orange tin that has always been one of my favorites. WOW. And it pulls streamlined articulated tinplate cars, all in great shape. This is the version with the electric engine. It is single axle motor version that came with the smaller passenger sets.
This is one of those sets everyone wants and that looks so unique on the layout.
The set includes
-
M10005 Power Car (wind up)
-

THE ARTICULATED STREAMLINER MAKES A STATEMENT. MARX REALLY DID THESE RIGHT.
General Condition: C-6+. All here and looks nice, but does have some playwear and a few scratches here and there. Good printing. Looks sharp overall. With US Mail Railway Post Office car that is a darker shade of yellow. Wind up mechanism works. With key.
