Making its debut in 1917, the 214 Armored Motor Car Outfit offered kids the chance to be a general "just like the solders in Europe". Comprised of the 203 motorcar and two #900 ammunition cars, outfit No. 214 operated on O-Gauge track and had two 6" long cars painted in battleship gray. "Another triumph in motor car construction," Lionel's outfit 214 allowed users to "Play war! And bring up siege guns on the tracks".

CONDITION: C-9. New open box. The previous owner opened the motorized unit to look at it, but it does not appear to have been on rails. The engine still has the glossy patina, and the rollers do not looked used. The two ammunition car boxes look unopened. With the outer shipper. Individual boxes are like new except one ammo car box has a crease on one edge.
