Here is an original American Flyer Standard (Wide) Gauge crossover track. It is the early open track style (versus the red base version). You do not see this version of the wide gauge crossing as often as you see the red base version.
As you know, "wide gauge" is what American Flyer called its own style of Standard Gauge. The track is the same width as Lionel, Ives, etc standard gauge.

The curved section has the little clips for attaching wires, good for getting power to the track or perhaps lighting up am accessory etc. The straight section with the terminal lock on has actual posts to attach your wires to. These are just what you need to get power to the track.
CONDITION: C-6. Some wear, all visible in pics. Oxidation on track. A little surface rust in places. Pins as pictured.
