The 652 Pullman Coach
You are looking at an interesting American Flyer passenger car from 1949-52. This car is complete and clean. Put it behind that Northern ("Challenger") or the Hudson. What a train! These Heavyweights always look great; the more the merrier. This is the combination, aka combine, part baggage, part passenger.
There are a few variations of this car, and this one is
- Tuscan (vs. Red or Green)
- unpainted plastic shell (vs. painted red or green)
- link coupler, black weight
- red doors
- Serif printing
CONDITION: C-6. Some rubs, scuffs, side doors have paint chipping, oxidation on couplers, the ends have scratches in the plastic. There is a crack along the end and a small piece missing from the top from the crack. Windows show some aging. Does show signs of playwear and handling, but still a nice car.
