The 652 Pike's Peak Pullman Coach 1953 only
You are looking at an interesting American Flyer passenger car from 1953 only. This car is complete and clean. Put it behind that Northern ("Challenger") or the Hudson. What a train! These Heavyweights always look great; the more the merrier. This is the Pike's Peak Pullman coach.
Flyer released this version of the 652 in 1953 only.
There are a few variations of this car, and this one is
-
Pullman Coach (vs. combination car)
-
Tuscan (vs. Red or Green)
-
Pikes Peak (vs. no name)
-
numbers on side ends (versus centered)
-
link coupler, black weight
CONDITION: C-6++, maybe C-7. Looks nice. Tested and lights up. Some rubs, scuffs, side doors have some wear; there is a small ding in the roof, pictured. Windows show some aging. Does show signs of playwear and handling, but still a nice car. Both couplers present, nice trucks.
