You are looking at a fantastic addition to your American Flyer collection. This is the collectible 977 Action caboose with the brakeman who moves on and off the platform when the train starts and stops. This is the version with the flat metal man.
This caboose came in a lot of great deluxe sets in the mid-1950s.

CONDITION: C-6+. Excellent! Tested and works. Good printing. Snaps back and forth like he is supposed to. Cosmetically, if you look closely you can see some paint rubs especially along edges. One knuckle coupler has been repaired.
