You are looking at an American Flyer track terminal to hook up your transformer (power pack) to the two rail American Flyer track. These are also used for some accessories.
This is the BROWN base version--something you do not often see. It was produced in extremely small quantities. You see the black ones all the time, but you do not see this one much. Grab it while you can.
