Here is one of the harder to find of ALL of K-Line's American Flyer compatible S GAUGE releases. K-Line used old Marx body molds to make these retro cars and put them on S scale trucks so they will run on your two rail and coupler to American Flyer. It has long been out of production. Grab it and add some nice looking and affordable rolling stock to your consist!! Or put it on the shelf--this one is not one you see very often.
What is really neat about the car is that K-Line tried to keep it true to American Flyer collecting by numbering it 24033, one of the more collectible boxcars of the original Gilbert Flyer era. A clean 24033 can sell for hundreds on ebay; here is a chance to own a car that looks like it for much much less. So if you don't have or cannot afford the original, here is an affordable option for the shelf or layout. Or maybe you just like 'em CLEAN.
