CAST IRON SHELL ONLY
You are looking at a great part to get your prewar American Flyer wind up going.
This vintage wind up LOCOMOTIVE SHELL was originally catalogued as #4 1926-1930 and as #34 in 1930. It is 6" long (a little longer if you count the cab overhang). The only thing I can find wrong is that one side of the lantern protruding from the boiler front appears to be missing. I cannot tell if it was ever there. It may have broken off a long time ago. Hard to notice since the other half is there.
On the inside, one side has in the casting 9D and the other side 9F. Really neat.
Features:
- Cast Iron
- American Flyer #4 and #34
- 1926-1930

CONDITION: Cast iron has some oxidation and surface rust, visible. Looks complete except for half of the front lantern--one side--looks to be missing if it was ever there. SCROLL DOWN into the listing past the description to see more pictures which you can enlarge.
