You are looking at a highly sought after accessory for the American Flyer Circus set from 1950. The Circus set came with sheets of cardstock cutouts to make your own circus to have alongside your circus train. These cutouts were usually put somewhere else and are rarely found with the trains. It also came with 22 tickets.
This cutout set was ASSEMBLED here very carefully by a professional at Lone Star Trains. The layout was designed, then each item carefully placed and secured. Check out the swinging trapeze artists! The board includes very nice landscaping. How long would it take you to expertly cut everything out and assemble?
The Circus is assembled for you on a wood base that is 36" x 24" (3' x 2').
The circus is from the 1983 Greenberg AUTHORIZED and OFFICIAL reproduction from the originals. There are other repro sheets out there, but they are a little less crisp and some are actually incomplete.
AND we have included 22 exact replica American Flyer Circus tickets. They are the same size as the originals. These ARE subtly marked as reproduction on the back bottom.
CONDITION: Really a beauty. Professionally assembled. Nicely landscaped. There is a very hard to see crease in the top of the tent that is on most of the repro sheets. You can see the ends of the board are a little bowed up, so you will want to glue or screw down to your layout or another board--I will leave that to you. With 22 repro tickets.
