Here is a VINTAGE JAPANESE BRASS O scale engine from the 1950s.
It was most likely manufactured by KMT (Katsumi Mokeiten), and then imported by International Model Products.
This is a model of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) ED14 electric locomotive. This model was not widely produced and is scarcer than many of its comtemporaries.
It is 10" long, 4.5" tall and 3" wide.
It was manufactured in two and three rail versions. I think this was the two rail version, but I cannot be sure. If it was the three rail version, the middle rail pick up is missing.
CONDITION: C-3 selling as is. Untested. Pantograph is detached. Light oxidation on pantograph and trucks. May be missing other detail parts. Small denting on both ends on railing. Scratching all over mainly on top and trucks. There is a think purple wire sticking out. Not sure if 2 rail or 3 rail, so did not test. If three rail, does not have center pickup. Does have motor.
