TESTED AND WORKING

You are looking at A GREAT power step up from most starter set transformers. This one is 100 watts, two to four times more powerful than the transformers in many starter sets. Has a great vintage 1950's look and feel. It was sold separately but was also the transformer you got in some of the high end sets such as those with Northerns, etc. This one has been tested here at Lone Star Trains and is doing everything it should. It was made 1946-53; then the 22030 took over.
Best of all, I like the bluish-gray color of the metal case. It is a shade of gray with some light blue mixed in--so unique. This is the least common version of the 4B.
This was also one of the heavier-powered transformers included in some of the larger sets--maybe you need it to complete it.

CONDITION: C-6. Tested and works. Great to put with that 1949-53 set that requires the 4B. Unit does have scuffs and scratches, rubbing in the lettering. Could use a cleaning...all visible in the pictures. Cord has been replaced with a brand new safe one for you.
