Big Wild Animals
You are looking at a neat poster for one of the old circuses--the Cristiani Brothers. The artwork is by FD Freeland, and I believe it dates to the 1950s.
Cristiani Brothers started out working for the Ringling Brothers Circus but broke away around 1949. They operated with King Circus through about 1952. They only lasted three years or so.
You can see six different circus animals: a lion, giraffe, polar bear, rhino, tiger and a hippo. The colors are really unique--especiall these shades of blue and green. You won't find many circus posters with these hues.
This one is in a large frame. The whole thing measures 35" x 29.5", so it is a big one. It has museum paper on the back. It came out of the home of a longtime circus collector, so I have not seen this poster out of this frame. This is how we got it.
This would be a fantastic addition to your circus collection, game room or Man Cave.
Local pick up available in northeast Texas. We will ship as well.
