Here is a vintage Hornby O gauge coal tender with British Railways markings. According to the dating of the decal style, it could have been available anywhere from 1949-1969.

Check out our other listings for a 1920s era vintage clockwork steam engine.

It is a beautiful dark green color with red buffers and British Railways decals. The paint patina is as nice as you will find.

This one:

  • British Railways
  • Hornby Made in England Meccano decal black print with gray background
  • The base is 3.5" not including buffers and couplers
  • About 5" coupler to coupler
  • Red trim on end with buffers
  • Hook and loop style coupler
  • About 2" wide
  • Plastic wheels
  • Metal axles
  • Open top

CONDITION: C-7+ perhaps C-8. Looks really clean. Amazing patina, solid decals. Complete buffers and couplers IF it ever had a coal top, it does not currently. All as pictured.
