This is a classic Multiple Unit MU commuter set of the British Railways White livery three piece set. It features the powered unit and two coaches.
It is a Hornby 1:76 release in its OO line, but as you know, OO will run on HO track and runs on DC power.
This set is rarely offered for sale. It is from the mid 1990's and was made for only two years.

CONDITION: C-6+/C-7. Tested and runs. Used, has been run. Wheels could use a cleaning. Couplers and trucks are complete. Over all looks nice. Cars do have minor handling wear-pictured up close for you. 59861 car has a black mark on one end. Tops of cars have a few white scuffs. Pictures show it all--what you see is what is here. NO box.

British Railways came into existence in 1948 when the dominating four British railway companies amalgamated. Steam traction on British Railways ended in 1968 and the system was re-branded as British Rail.
