Here is a special and very useful Scale Voltmeter car decorated for the FEMA Disaster Emergency Power Car. It is a neat voltmeter car. K-Line produced these neat voltmeter cars that (besides looking cool) actually test the power on the track--they help you find low voltage spots, hot spots and dead spots. It is also a good way to see where you may need another power drop. Usually, these low power areas are just hard-to-see dirty track areas. With this car, that will not be a problem! PLUS, the kids enjoy watching the needle move as the car goes around the layout.
This one was produced by Lionel during the period of time it was producing and distributing K-Line trains. It was in the 2006 catalog.
