You are looking at one of the harder to find of ALL of K-Line's American Flyer compatible S GAUGE releases. This one is like new in the box. The 3/16" car may have never been run--hard to tell for sure. K-Line used old Marx body molds to make these retro cars and put them on S scale trucks so they will run on your two rail and coupler to American Flyer. It has long been out of production. Grab it and add some nice looking and affordable rolling stock to your consist!! Or put it on the shelf--this one is not one you see very often.
What is really neat about the car is that K-Line tried to keep it true to American Flyer collecting by numbering it 24319, a prototypical number for the famous Pennsylvania Salt Liquid Chlorine tank car. As you know, this tank car would cost you hundreds if it was an original. But this one looks just like the original, and it is a fraction...a small fraction...of the cost. Buy this one and let it run on the layout or hold that place on the shelf.
