Here is a really neat high quality caboose put out by K-Line in 2000. This is one of those cabeese that is really high end--super nice...great detail--check out the brakeman in the cupola.

Unlike anything else on the market, these cabooses offer unbelievable detail at a great value. This Extended Vision Caboose is a prototypical reproduction of cabooses built toward the end of the modern caboose era. In the 1950s, The Extended Vision Caboose incorporated both the cupola and the bay window design. The extended vision design widened the cupola out beyond the standard width of the car and allowed the train crews to look at the sides of their trains as well as forward and above. The Extended Vision Caboose enjoyed a popularity throughout the 1960s, 1970s and into the early 1980s.
