We all put crazy non-official train company items on our layouts. Back in the old days, folks did the same thing. Trains were so HUGE that toy makers made all kinds of accessories that were marketed to folks with trains.
This Kenton #192 fence and gate set is one such item. These dark green fences with the ornate design were often sold to go around your house or Station on your toy train layout. And it did not hurt that they had a Christmasy dark green and ornate post toppers that look great at Christmas time.
This fence set is BIG--really meant for Standard Gauge (or G if you are so inclined).
Check out our other listings for an interesting light green version, a scarcer run of the fencing.
The lot includes everything you see: eight fence units and two gate pieces.Â
CONDITION:Â C-7+. All pieces have strong paint. Everything looks great. Look at all the pictures. They are part of the description.
These will match up with the MTH Tinplate Traditions, Lionel Classics (Standard Gauge), and all original prewar Standard Gauge. Most Lionel accessories were also sized so that they could work with your O as well.
We have other original Lionel, Lionel Corporation, and MTH Tinplate fun stuff in our other listings right now--and MUCH more coming. If you are looking for some in this line, let us know, and if we have it, we will list it for you.
